A basic description

This sequence is a targeted proapoptotic peptide. The C-terminal RGD-4C peptide (ACDCRGDCFC) binds preferentially to integrins at sites of tumor angiogenesis. Two glycines provide spacer, and D(KLAKLAK)2 is the proapoptotic peptide composed of D-amino acids.
