2017 IMPC Annual Meeting was successfully held in Nanjing IMPC and Animal Disease Model Resource Application Seminar had it grand opening in Nanjing from 9th to 12th May 2017. This meeting was jointly organized by Cambridge - Su Da Genome Resource Center of Soochow University; Nanjing Biomedical Research Institute and Model Animal Institute of Nanjing University; State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Technology; Nanjing Biomedical Valley and Jiangsu Institute of Cellular and Developmental Biology. ChinaPeptides Co., Ltd, as one of the main sponsors, had set up booth in the exhibition hall and had an in-depth exchange with participants. In addition to the IMPC members from 18 research institutes in the United States, Britain, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Australia, Japan, Korea and China (Taiwan). There are also Chinese Excellence Scientists made the General Assembly report, who are from the fields of domestic metabolomics, genetics, immunology, cardiovascular and etc. IMPC aims to analyze mammalian coding gene function and carry out a 10-year systematic analysis of the mouse phenotype of large scientific cooperation program from 2011. This program is directed against carrying out a large-scale, standardized analysis of metabolic growth, neurobehavioral, immune and development in 20000 gene knockout mice, revealing the relationship between genes and functions, and creating an encyclopedia of functional genomics. Meanwhile, to find more suitable animal models for human diseases, build a bridge for mouse functional genomics and human precision transformation medicine. Gaoxiang Team, as one of the IMPC sponsors, has completed about 5% phenotype analysis of 5000 genes in the IMPC Phase I over the past 5 years, and has established a complete international uniform technical mouse phenotypic analysis platform. And also has provided technical services for many domestic and overseas scientific research units, hospitals and pharmaceutical enterprises. Delegates from both domestic and overseas have expressed their great interest in existing data of IMPC, and discussed the possible resource utilization and development direction. |
