Basic description
|
Peptide YY (PYY) is mainly found in gastrointestinal tract. It is believed to involve feeding behavior. It is a gut hormone that inhibits both secretin- and cholecystokinin-stimulated pancreatic secretion. This peptide is an endogenous nonselective agonist at NPY receptors.
