Basic description
|
Neuromedin B is a mammalian Bombesin peptide that binds with affinity to the Neuromedin B Bombesin receptor. Bombesin-like peptide that is present in the mammalian central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract that has been implicated in the control of food intake, smooth muscle contraction, and thermoregulation. Neuromedin is also an autocrine growth factor in non-small cell lung cancer.
