Basic description Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) is found exclusively in the CNS, where it is localized on the surface of myelin and oligodendrocyte cytoplasmic membranes and has been implicated as an important autoantigen in multiple sclerosis (MS). This peptide induces severe chronic experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in transgenic mice.
Solubility Recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized MOG in sterile 18 MΩ-cm H2O of not less than 100 µg/ml. This solution can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
