Basic description
|
The native peptide Autocamtide 2 (KKALRRQETVDAL) is a ly selective substrate for Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase (CaMK). The peptide Autocamtide 2 contains the sequence around the autophosphorylation site in the autoinhibitory domain of calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaM kinase II). The fluorescent and biotinylated peptides are used to design assays for CaMKs.
