A-779 is a potent and selective Ang (1-7) antagonist. A-779 antagonizes several actions of Ang (1-7), including A-779's antidiurectic effect and the changes in MAP produced by Ang (1-7) microinjection into the dorsomedial or ventrolateral medulla.
