基本描述
|
Thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) is a tripeptide hormone secreted by the hypothalamus that stimulates the release of thyrotropin. This tripeptide is involved in the regulation of the hypothalamic pituitary-thyroid axis; it stimulates the synthesis and release from the anterior pituitary of thyrotropin (TSH) and prolactin.
